GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA – U.S. Paralympics Swimming is set to host over 100 Para swimmers at the 2021 U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships presented by Toyota from Dec. 17-19 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. The three-day event, which is the first major competition since the Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, will feature a collection of the nation’s biggest names and brightest stars in Para swimming. Competition will begin at 9 a.m. ET each day with preliminary sessions followed by event finals each evening starting at 6 p.m. ET.

“We are thrilled to partner with Toyota and the Greensboro Aquatic Center to bring one of the nation’s biggest Para swimming events to life,” said Erin Popovich, director of U.S. Paralympics Swimming. “We won 35 medals as a team in Tokyo, and this will be the first time those swimmers are back in action for Team USA. We can’t wait to see what they bring to the pool.”

The championships, which will feature Paralympic veterans including 29-time Paralympic medalist Jessica Long (Baltimore, Maryland), six-time Paralympic medalist McKenzie Coan (Clarksville, Georgia) and two-time Paralympic champion and world record holder Robert Griswold (Freehold, N.J.), are open to the public.  Single session tickets are available to purchase on Dec. 17 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center Box Office for $15 for adults and $10 for ages 17 and under.

“As a proud partner of U.S. Paralympics Swimming, it’s an honor to support Team USA’s top Paralympic swimmers who will be putting their skills and talent on display at the 2021 U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships,” said Dedra DeLilli, group manager, sponsorship strategy, integration & activation, Toyota Motor North America. “These athletes dominated in the water at Tokyo 2020 and we look forward to watching them compete for a national title this weekend.”
