The calendars below include Para Swimming competitions across the country and around the world. These calendars will continue to be updated with more event info and details. Unless noted as HOSTED, the events listed below are not U.S. Paralympics Swimming hosted competitions so are not under the jurisdiction of the USOPC or subject to its policies. If you are a Participant of the USOPC/U.S. Paralympics Swimming at the time of a competition listed below, you are still required to be familiar with and comply with the USOPC Athlete Safety Policy and USOPC Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies while participating at the event.

2026 Para Open Series 

  • March 7-8 - Lakeshore Open Series Meet (Birmingham, AL)
  • May 9-10 - Bill Keating Cincinnati Para Open (Cincinnati, OH)
  • July 23-25 - Jimi Flowers Classic (Colorado Springs, CO)
  • August 15-16 - Northeast Para Swimming Open Series (Beverly, MA)
  • Fall TBD - Fred Lamback Para Open (TBD, GA)

U.S. Paralympics Swimming HOSTED Domestic Events 

  • June 11-14 - 2026 U.S. Paralympics Swimming National Championships (Boise, ID)
  • July 23-25 - Jimi Flowers Classic (Colorado Springs, CO)
  • Aug. 28-30 - 2026 Para Pan Pacific Championships (Location TBA)

Please note that U.S. Paralympics Swimming is not hosting a WPS World Series in 2026 and shifting focus to the Para Pan Pacs for international competition on U.S. soil.

Note that U.S. Para Swimming is NOT planning to host a World Series meet in the USA in 2026 to shift focus to hosting Para Pan Pacific Championships.

  • WPS World Series Barcelona (Barcelona, ESP) - Sign up deadline - Jan. 19, Classification March 16-18, Competition March 19-22
  • WPS World Series France (Paris, FRA) - Sign up deadline - March 1, Classification April 28-30, Competition May 1-3
  • WPS World Series Berlin (Berlin, GER) - Sign up deadline - March 7, Classification May 4-6, Competition May 7-9
  • WPS World Series Fuji-Shizuoka (Fuji-Shizuoka, JPN) - Sign up deadline - March 28, Classification May 25-27, Competition May 28-30
  • WPS World Series Mexico (Guadalajara, MEX) - Sign up deadline - June 13, Classification Aug. 10-12, Competition Aug. 13-16

WPS Meet Eligibility 

Any U.S. athlete who wishes to compete at any of the WPS World Series events (except for World Championships) can self-fund to the event as long as the meet the eligibility requirements listed in each time's guide for that event. Athletes are required to pay their own entry feee in a reimbursement to U.S. Paralympics Swimming. Requests to compete should be sent to Amanda.Boulet@usopc.org no later than 60 days prior to the respective event's sign up deadline. If international classification is being requested, the entry must be received prior to the respective event's classification entry deadline.
